At our reception desk and at the local Tourist Information Office are many brochures available to create your own daytrip.
Nearby 't Witven there are multiple possibilities for the perfect day out. There are for example different theme parks and playgrounds where you can have fun together with you child. Even when the weather is bad, there are multiple theme parks where they have many indoor activities. In the close surrounding you will find different zoo's where you can go around the world and all it's exotic animals in just one day. Then there is also "Papegaaiencentrum Veldhoven". In this park you find all kinds of parrots and you will learn a lot about these special birds but also about the organisation behind the park.
Also for an informative day out, "de Kempen" have lots of possibilities. You can visit the very impressive war- and resistancemuseum, about the WW II. Or you can go back to the Prehistory at the "Historisch museum" in Eindhoven.
Ofcourse you can go shopping in Veldhoven. City Centrum Veldhoven has many different shops, so you will always find something you like. Every Monday there is a market from 11.00 until 16.30 'o clock. For more markets and more shoppingfun Eindhoven is the place to be.
